Troll Hunting!

We've had a busy weekend here in the Emerald City!!!

Madison went on her first "non-cousin" sleep over to Carys' house down on the waterfront. Eleyna and I met up with them the next day and went to the Seattle Aquarium for Octopus Week.

It was a BEAUTIFUL day and we didn't even need our jackets!

Today however was all Gloom and Doom, with a slight drizzle...
and as you know that is when the TROLLS come out!
Trolls, quite unlike snakes, which live in mortal fear of tile, are instead susceptible to the rays of the sun... and what better way to bring up the sun than with rooster breath?!
Should you not have a lickale rooster handy your next best option is to eat something with a picture of a rooster on it, a sure bet you will aquire rooster breath from the consumption of said item...
quite luckily we had a box of Kellogs corn flakes in the cupboard!
Your next consideration while preparing for a troll hunt is the state of your mane.
Trolls, more often than not, live under big bridges along with creepy crawly, icky sticky and ooey gooey things, not to mention that the best time to spot a troll is when the humidity is VERY high... so to deter being caught in a troll snare, mistaken for a Chia Pet or bringing home any unwated hair ornaments it is essential to do something with your hair... we troll proofed our hair-do's, grabbed our Troll repellent bunnies to snuggle in the car and headed off on a CITY TROLL HUNT!!!

On the corner of 36th Ave in Fremont we spied something fishy!!!

A few college students were there scavenging for troll boogers, which are very valuable on the black market... how else do you think people pay for college these days?!?!?

And just in case you couldn't tell, that is a REAL Volkswagen Beetle in his grasp!!!
