I've been tempted in the last few days to change the name of the Weird Washington postings of this blog... mostly due to the fact that alot of the stuff I want to show you isn't really 'weird' as it is unique, interesting and off the beaten path of the normal Seattle/Washington tourist's list of "things to do".
Like my little find yesterday:
On the way back from shopping I decided to let my subconcious, sixth sense and unique-o-meter (yes, sometimes it gets a bit crowded in this head of mine) drive home... a few turns into what I thought was a purely residential neighborhood and I'm staring at a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery complete with Prayer Wheels! *Way to go guys, you never let me down.*
Since I ALWAYS (ok, that's a bit of a stretch, "mostly always" is more like it) carry my camera around with me, Eleyna and I jumped out to snap a few shots for my Google Earth file. For those of you who don't quite realize it... I have a Google Earth obsession! More pointedly I love to submit photos for Google Earth to post on their map... yes, you can submit photos too!
