This is most definitely what you'd call "Being in the Thick of It!"
The time has come for me to put on my Girl Scout Mama hat and become...The Crazy Cookie Lady *queue the Psycho shower scene music*... Our first troop order came in yesterday, luckily I hadn't volunteered to pick it up from the staging area -- some huge unused werehouse a few miles away -- BUT as soon as I came home from work at Hawaiian the call came in to unload and sort with my cookie co-chair.
6 HOURS LATER... we had unloaded 96 cases out of the back of a truck, opened them, seperated 1,284 boxes of Girl Scout into orders for our 20 girls, double checked and triple check, contacted parents, most of whom showed up to stare bewildered at their child's 'hard work', wrote out receipts and checked orders again before loading them into their cars. Then I packed up Madison's boxes as well as the boxes for our first site sale and drove home... unpacked the sight sale into the garage storage, hauled Madison's upstairs and prepared for her individual order seperation!

So, you might ask... "What are you going to do now that you're done for the week?" The answer is simple, go lay on a beach somewhere in the tropics....
Next stop Hawaii!!!
