Slightly tanner, slightly Spammer and oh so sandy!
Really... could YOU tell these two little fish to stay out of the water???
I didn't think so.
It's times like these that makes working for Hawaiian Airlines WORTH IT! This past week was Maddy's Mid-Winter break (who is making up these school breaks? MORE importantly WHERE WERE THEY WHEN I WAS A KID?!?!?!?) since we had a week free of school we zoomed to Oahu to partake of a bit of saltwater, sunshine and sand.
Madison braved herself up and finally jumped off the "Alligator's nose" and into the deep end of Alligator Pond (this weird rock the girls are sitting on in the above picture), Eleyna did her best to immitate Madison from a shallower perch just off the side.
Eric joined us on Tuesday and caught a few waves but for the most part just gave himself board rash and a lat work out.
AND I have at last reached a point where I can look back on my Hawaii life and remember alot more good things than negative, which is a nice place to finally be. I was worried that I had forever tainted my feelings of Hawaii with a "Live at Disneyland" mentality. It begins to draw the same fond emotional response that going back to Idaho does, and I look forward to the day that I can tell myself there were reasons not to stay but not remember a single one... Hawaii will return as a destination of relaxation once again.
